MarketSquare for Markets & GroceryEvery shelf, every case, priced and labeled from one catalog.
MarketSquare keeps shelf tags, deli labels, and stock counts pulling from the same Square catalog, so a price change happens once and shows up everywhere.

What gets in the way.
The parts of running a market that Square on its own leaves for you to solve.
Price changes
You update a price in Square, but the shelf tag still shows the old one until someone walks the aisle and replaces it by hand.
Two systems
Your deli scale has its own item list, separate from Square, so every item and price has to be entered twice and the two lists drift apart.
Reprints
Re-tagging a whole aisle after a price change means printing labels one at a time, which can take an entire afternoon.
Stock guesswork
Nobody knows how much stock is actually in the back room until someone stops and counts it.
What MarketSquare adds to Square for markets & grocery.
One subscription, one catalog. Start with the piece that hurts most and add the rest when you need it.
Labeling
Shelf tags and item labels in batches, printed straight from the catalog, plus weight-based labels with dates at the deli case.

A price change once, on every shelf tag.
Update the item in Square and MarketSquare pulls it. Select the aisle, send the batch, and the printer works through it while you keep stocking. No walking the store with a list, no tags that quietly disagree with the register.

The deli case, on the same catalog.
Weigh it, print it, done. Price, weight, barcode, packed-on and sell-by dates, and your ingredient list, all from the same item record the rest of the store uses. Nothing is keyed twice and nothing drifts.

One catalog behind the whole store.
Grocery, deli, bakery, and prepared foods stop being four systems that need reconciling. They are departments of the same catalog, which is what makes the counts worth trusting.

Questions grocery and market owners ask.
Short answers. For anything else, talk to us.
Does Square print shelf labels on its own?
Not for a whole aisle at once. MarketSquare pulls your items from the Square catalog and prints shelf tags and item labels in batches, so a price change in Square becomes new tags for the section in one pass.
Can the deli counter use the same catalog as the rest of the store?
Yes. DeliLabel prints weight-based labels with price, barcode, and dates from the same Square item record the front end uses, so nothing is keyed twice and the scale and register agree.
Does MarketSquare track inventory across departments?
InTrac tracks stock as items sell through Square and supports multi-location management, so grocery, deli, and prepared foods run off one set of counts. Automated reordering and demand forecasting are built in.
Do I need new hardware?
It depends on what you have. Hardware compatibility changed between versions: printers and scales that worked with earlier versions, such as Bixolon and Torrey, are not compatible with the latest version. The store carries supported starter bundles, and the product finder quiz will tell you what works with your setup before you buy.
How much does MarketSquare cost for a grocery store?
That depends on which modules you need. Every module is available on its own, or all four together as the full suite, which also includes a complimentary onboarding call. The pricing page has a plan builder that shows exactly what your setup would cost.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, on the latest version. Connect your Square catalog, set your label layouts, and print your first tag in minutes.
Our biggest thing: we didn’t keep up with price changes very well. This takes care of all of that. Employees don’t have to figure out profit margins or anything, because it all does it automatically.
